Material Data

The heat and moisture fluxes permeating the building component are not only determined by its present and past conditions and the boundary conditions, but also and foremost by the conductive and capacitive properties of the individual materials. A discussion of the data needed by WUFI may help you to better understand the physics involved in the calculations.

There are basic data which are indispensable for a calculation. Other data may be optional, depending on the material and on the purpose of the calculation:
