Some settings of a component can be changed in the Properties Window

The Type of a component can be changed here. This is important in order to establish weather a component is a transparent component (window), a opaque component or just a opening in the building. The distinction between opaque and transparent is important because each transparent and opaque components have their own databanks. Changing the type of a component is also possible by choosing the according component in the Navigation Tree and revising the Type in the section "General"
