Plus 2.X:Properties
Properties of a Component
Some settings of a component can be changed in the Properties Window
Type
The Type of a component can be changed here. This is important in order to establish whether a component is a transparent component (window), a opaque component or just a opening in the building. The distinction between opaque and transparent is important because each transparent and opaque components have their own database. Changing the type of a component is also possible by choosing the according component in the Navigation Tree and revising the type in the section "General" but while working in the Visualization Box it might be handy to do it by means of the Properties window.
Attachment
Each side of the component has a zone attached to it. These zones attached to the component can be changed arbitrary. The outer side of a component is always the side the normal vector points out of. Changing the orientation of the normal vector is possible by right clicking on the component and choosing the operation "Change Orientation (inner<->outer)". This operation is also possible under the according component in section "General".
Color
For setting own colors the check mark from "Set default color" has to be removed, then individual colors for inner and outer wall can be set.
Conditional not visible/not pickable
The check mark needs to be set if the component is supposed to be conditional not visible/not pickable
